La Vita Dolce Reopens …

Jennifer Oliva and Anita Horn (right) have reopened La Vita Dolce, their unique downtown gift boutique. The store closed in early summer for remodeling.

The reopening occurs during their 3rd annual Witches Brew event today (October 5) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 – 8 p.m. and tomorrow (October 6) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Stop in, say hi and look at their scary “boo-tique.”

More about Arabella’s Ristorante …

We recently reported that Arabella’s would return to Winter Haven with a downtown “bistro” type of restaurant in the space that was occupied by the original Tanner’s Pub. We have learned the popular local “ristorante” will occupy all of the space formerly occupied by Cafe Panino. Look for an opening late this year and watch the Chamber blog for the opening date.

Smoke Free “Flip Side” to Open Soon …

The folks at Jessie’s downtown will soon open a smoke free lounge called “Flip Side” immediately south of their current location on Third Street, SW. The space has previously been used for art benefits for local not-for-profit organizations. So, if you’re looking for a smoke free environment to finalize your next sale or unwind with a cocktail after work … watch this blog for the opening of “Flip Side.”

Great news all around! Cocktails without smoke is fabulous for us alcoholics on the patch. And we hope Arrabellas figures out a solution to being able to provide good food AND good service, within a lunch hour.
And aren’t those LVD girls soooo cute!? Their boutique really is unique, and full of fun holiday things as well as very funky jewelry and other accessories. You gotta check it out!

Winter Haven is so fortunate to have Jennifer and Anita (& Lindsey) at LaVita Dolce. Each of them unique in their styles that compliment the format of the boutique.
Their combined personalities provide an energy that is indescribable. Every customer that walks in the door is the most important customer of the day. Treat yourself to the experience.
Pictures must lie…they’re much prettier than the photo!

Franco has told me that the “bar side” of the restaurant will be expanded and feature a Tapas menu which will be exclusive to those seated in the bar area. They will also have selected happy hour features. Here’s a plus… NO digital jukebox for people to ruin the ambiance/mood… Look for a December first opening.

I am so excited, Arrabellas, is returning to Winter Haven. Everything downtown is so relaxing, whether it is daytime or nighttime. The “boo-tiques” are wonderful, this time of the year is my favorite! Great idea, for Flip Side, I will enjoy the smoke free environment. It is hard with customers with allergies to the smoke. Happy Fall…..
