We are pleased to announce the return of a fine dining establishment as Arabella’s has opened in the historic Times Square building. Seven months of renovations have returned long-hidden architectural features most notably the arches that graced the building when it was known as the Snell National Bank. Diners will find exposed brick walls framing the elegant decor. The restaurant also has a private dining area (shown below) with private entrance.
Arabella’s and its adjoining Avenue Bar is now open to the public. The restaurant features Mediterranean cuisine including both French and Italian fare. For now the restaurant is open Tuesday through Saturday from 5 – 9:30 p..m. It is contemplated that at some point, plans call to open for lunch as well. (Note: The restaurant opened for lunch beginning March 20, 2008) The restaurant is owned by Brian Rich and Franco Basalone.
Reservations are not required but suggested. 293-1797. Welcome them back!

The opening of Arabella’s brings another “touch of class” to Winter Haven and is a great complement to the establishments already exiting in our fine downtown area. I had the opportunity and pleasure to enjoy the service and the food last Friday evening and both were excellent.

We had a wonderful dining experience recently. The wait staff took care of all our needs and the food was on a par with some excellent restaurants we have visited in Atlanta. We’re booking for a return visit.

I had a fantastic lunch today! The service was wonderful, and prices not too expensive. It’s so nice to have such a lovely place to eat lunch close to home.

So glad to have the perfect place to meet for lunch. The presentation was as delightful as the food, the service perfect, the noise level ideal for conversation. We will be back!

We had a great experience at the AVE.BAR tonight. The barkeeper ‘Marissa’ does an exceptional job as the barkeeper and hostess/waitress for the bar crowd. PLUS Marissa is a bevy of information since she’s been a local resident for most of her life. Born in Ohio and soon to be off to Winter Haven as a babe. Marissa is quite the ‘babe’ still and has a wealth of knowledge she is all too willing to share. Celebrating our 14th Anniversary with Marissa was an added treat, we enjoyed her personality so much we decided to stay in the ‘bar’ and dine with her expert care. I’m sure the dining room staff is equally attentive but, for a less formal dining experience – “Check out Marissa and her great people skills”. These Pennsylvanians cannot wait to come back to this unique ‘happening’ place. Best Wishes for a successful venture – with employees like Marissa, you’ll surely be a success! Thank you for your hospitality, Nick & Sue Fazio

I just wanted to let you know that an update might be a good idea. I just called to find out if the restaurant was open for lunch and it is. According to the website, it is not open for lunch as yet. I’m glad I called and look forward to meeting friends and family for lunch there. Thanks, Denise Paetzold
